Handcrafting
Craftsmanship and tradition from the heart of the Balkan Mountains. On the northern slopes of the Balkan Mountains, in the Central Fore-Balkan region, traditional Bulgarian crafts are still alive – part of our intangible cultural heritage. One of the most prominent among them is the artistic woodworking and especially woodcarving. Combined with industrial design and engineering, today we enjoy this complex to manufacture and extremely exquisite product.

Our eyeglass frames are created in over a hundred different steps from veneer selection, gluing the blanks, cutting the shape, sanding, finishing, cosmetics and assembly. The unique shape pushes us to an innovative approach in manual production. One of the biggest challenges in creating our products is bending the wood – not in a traditional cylindrical shape, but in the shape of a sphere. This is a technological solution that many consider impossible, but we managed to find a way to achieve it. Thanks to this technique, we can offer sporty-elegant eyeglass frames with a base curvature of 6, made of wood - an extremely rare achievement worldwide, which provides comfort and style. Through detailed research into the physical properties of different types of wood, we have discovered the optimal parameters for creating strong and durable products. Each frame undergoes precise manual processing and assembly, which gives us confidence that we offer glasses with high functional and artistic value.
